Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival

We got up early and braved an hour and a half of traffic to take Spencer to the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival.

Spencer and mom explore a pumpkin patch on the way to the festival.

Spencer takes a break from helping us scout out the perfect pumpkin to bring home.

Phil and Gaby joined us for the Half Moon Bay festivities.

An impressive demonstration by Farmer Mike, "world class pumpkin carver."

Phil gave Gaby a bite of his pumpkin pie while Ryan and Eunice tried the pumpkin sausage, pumpkin sticky buns, and pumpkin ale.

Mmmmm!

Spencer enjoying a bird's eye view of the festivities from Dad's arms.

More shots of Spencer hanging out in the pumpkin patch.

It looks like you have the perfect life out there! Particularly enjoyed the pics of your hike into the woods & the views over the bay. My wife & I have often considered emigrating from the UK - we spent our honeymoon in Vermont/New England. Looks like the Bay Area could be next on our list of places to visit!
