Ardenwood Farm

Eunice packed the kids in the car, drove across the bay, and met up with Nikki and Gaby to explore historic Ardenwood Farm in Fremont.

Site of George Patterson's original house and farm from the late 1880s, Ardenwood is part of the East Bay Regional Park District. We had a fun morning exploring the grounds, which includes old railcars, antique plows, a thriving vegetable garden, a nice shaded picnic area, and a farmyard filled with sheep, goats, bunnies, turkeys and horses.
